WHO WE ARE
WHAT IS MELODY OF NEW HOPE (MNH)?
MNH is a ministry begun during 2005 in Africa by the Gospel music artist and minister Adrien Misigaro to renew the broken lives of young people through MNH messaging and mission activities. Adrien’s many famous “melodies of hope” have uplifted millions of youths and families broken by wars, genocide, and poverty, but much more work is ongoing in partnership with ERM.
Adrien’s MNH Mission Statements follow:
WHAT’S NEW!
MNH/ERM School Partnership
MNH entered an exciting partnership with Emmanuel Sitaki’s ERM vocational school in 2024! Emmanuel’s school has graduated thousands of students. Adrien has joined the Board of Directors of ERM and will work closely with Emmanuel. The ERM/MNH partnership will notably expand our outreach and broaden the scope of both programs.
See the panel below for a more extensive discussion of this new partnership.
Fireman Joins MNH
Fireman is a renowned Rwandan Hip Hop artist. He was welcomed into the Melody of New Hope family in 2021.
Fireman was named the ambassador of the ‘Each One Reach One’ campaign, which was launched by Adrien. This program is aimed at stopping drug abuse among youth and creating awareness of the problems with drug and excessive alcohol use. This program is focused at the Iwawa Island Rehabilitation Center.
MNH in partnership with KFH
August 6, 2024, Melody of New Hope alongside Dr. Drew Welk, had a productive collaboration with King Faisal Hospital aimed at strengthening the partnership between MNH Ministry and the hospital. The meeting focused on discussing mutual benefits and fostering cooperation.
MNH donated a surgical instrument set, which will contribute to patient care and overall hospital operations in a surgical area.
A visit to Minembwe
During July 2023, Adrien and an American group of Bellevue Presbyterian Church members traveled to South Kivu, Congo.
They visited an orphanage sponsored by the Church, located in Minembwe. During their stay, group activities included youth sports events and competitions, entertainment, charitable activities, and discussion forums for community leaders and local church members.
VISION
Jeremiah 29;11 : For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a better future.
MISSION
Psalms 34:18: The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
GOALS
2. Restorative messaging healing broken lives.
3. Youth focused church worship with salvation through Jesus Christ.
4. Development and Empowerment programs securing the futures of our youths.
Proverbs 15:22: Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.
ERM Hope TVET School Partnership
In 2024, MNH began a partnership with Emmanuel Sitaki’s ERM (Equipping, Restoring, Multiplying) vocational school. ERM offers vocational training in a broad range of trades and skills, with a long record of high graduation and employment rates for their graduates. MNH staff works directly with ERM students to expand their personal confidence, presentation, and ambition in parallel with vocational training. MNH is experienced in this process, having partnered with more than 90 schools around Rwanda to implement such programs. MNH programs are fun and inspirational – music, singing, dancing, sports, debates, and other interactive events greatly engage and stimulate students. Alcohol and drug abuse issues are addressed. Students learn how to interact with an audience, connect vibrantly and respectfully with each other, and convey confidence and friendship.
ERM training is dedicated to poor and disadvantaged students, many of whom arrive shy and withdrawn. It’s not a given that they can project their talents and personalities to best position themselves for their first jobs and subsequent career growth. MNH helps fill a big space for these students.

“Tomorrow Begins Today” is the motto that captures our vision for the Melody of New Hope [MNH] mission. Its origin is in the Book of Joshua (4:9): “After crossing the River Jordan, God commanded Joshua to set up twelve stones collected from the middle of the River Jordan where the priests who carried the Ark of the Covenant had stood.”
These stones were to be a memorial for what God had done in liberating the Hebrew people from slavery in Egypt. They would manifest the goodness of the Lord and show how merciful and gracious He was to them. The stones set up by today’s generation for future generations were God’s reminder to Joshua that ‘tomorrow begins today’.
